​​About the role:

As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will work with our accounting team to ensure our organization’s spendings are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. You will be responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations as needed. You will play a key role in delivering the services and standardization, as well as improvements of the AP processes, supporting respective Team Leader of Accounts Payable Section. You will also be involved in liaising with suppliers and the supply chain department in order to maintain a business relationship and ensure smooth deliveries to the production department.

Your responsibilities

• Verification and posting of individual financial transactions
• Compliance with company policies and documented SOX procedures
• Resolving discrepancies through collaboration with business partners and suppliers
• Support in month-end and year-end closing in the area of liabilities
• Identification of areas for process improvement
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and local business units
• Participation in department-level projects
• Regular work with reports

What makes you a good fit for this role?

• Secondary vocational or higher education (accounting, finance, economics) or other
• Proficiency in English (minimum B1)
• Proficiency in Italian (minimum B2)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Practical knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to input data and analyse financial documents
• Ability to work under pressure
• Accuracy in task execution and attention to detail
• Adaptability to changing deadlines and priorities driven by business needs
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team

Purpose of processing The personal data are processed for the purpose of verifying language qualifications in the recruitment process for positions at Parker Hannifin ESSC Sp. z o.o.

Source of personal data The Controller receives personal data from the entity performing the language competency verification on behalf of the Controller, namely TEACHERSteam.pl Brzeziński, Walencik s.c., ul. Aleksandra Ostrowskiego 30b, room 145, 53-238 Wrocław, Poland.

Legal basis for processing The legal basis for processing is the voluntary consent of the data subject (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Candidates participating in the recruitment process have the right to withdraw their consent at any time by notifying the Controller. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

Categories of personal data The categories of personal data processed include candidates’ test results and information about their foreign language proficiency level.

Obligation to provide data Providing personal data by candidates in the recruitment process is necessary for the achievement of the purposes for which the data were collected.

Recipients or categories of recipients Your data may be disclosed to entities with which the Controller has concluded agreements for the provision of services supplying technical and organizational solutions that ensure efficient management (in particular IT service providers); the Microsoft 365 service provider; providers of legal, audit and advisory services; and entities supporting the Controller in the recruitment process.

International transfers The Controller may transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such transfers may concern candidates’ data in the context of specific recruitment processes. Parker Hannifin ESSC Sp. z o.o. conducts transfers outside the EEA using safeguards based on standard contractual clauses in accordance with Article 46(2) GDPR and in accordance with the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Disclosure to external parties Data will not be disclosed to external entities except where required by law.

Storage period The period for which personal data will be stored, or if that is not possible, the criteria used to determine that period:

• Candidates who did not give consent to the processing of their data: until the end of the recruitment process;
• Candidates who actively participated in the recruitment in the scope of language competency verification: until the expiry of the limitation period for claims related to employment discrimination;
• Data of a person employed as a result of the recruitment: retained in accordance with the statutory requirements governing the retention of personnel records.

Data subject rights Job applicants have the right to request from the Controller access to their personal data, rectification of their personal data, and — subject to applicable law — erasure (the right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Right to lodge a complaint Applicants have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
