Description:
Responsible for general accounting functions including maintaining general ledger and account reconciliations. Will involve assisting with monthly closings, account analysis and resolving account discrepancies through collaboration with internal departments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management
• Research and correct billing, inventory, and tax discrepancies
• Assist with monthly close and preparation of budgets
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with GAAP, procedures, and regulations
• Provide support during external audits
• Assist with special projects as needed

Required Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, other accounting software a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Ability to perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete assignments within deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
