​​About the role:As a Payment Accountant, you will deal with internal customers inquiries and provide high-quality internal customer service. While reporting to AP Team Leader and closely cooperation with EMEA Treasury Team as well as locations, you will support and execute the whole accounts payable process executing vendors liabilities.

What are your responsibilities?

• Processing electronic payments according to the payment schedule and ad-hoc manual payments.
• Reconciling bank statements and transactions on bank accounts, ensuring their compliance and accuracy with the maintained ledgers (GL), concerning processed automatic and manual payments.
• Verifying and posting financial transactions and preparing account analyses to monitor their status.
• Archiving posted journals in accordance with audit requirements.
• Monitoring cash balances.

What makes you a good fit for this role?

• Higher education

• English proficiency (minimum B2)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance departments

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and the Accounting Act

• Experience with JD Edwards or other accounting software

• Analytical skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel
