Technical Instructor - Aerospace Manufacturing

$40.59-$45.10/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical training in aerospace manufacturing disciplines (e.g., structural, electrical, systems, or quality) and assess learning effectiveness.

• Conduct learning needs analyses, establish learning objectives, and create customized training content.

• Facilitate instructor-led courses using various delivery methods, including classroom and hands-on settings.

• Provide team coaching, observe and track performance, and implement feedback to improve training outcomes.

• Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify new instructors and ensure delivery consistency.

• Emphasize safety protocols during all training and reinforce best practices across technical disciplines.

• Evaluate individual and group performance, identify training gaps, and recommend process improvements.

• Maintain a positive, policy-aligned learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related work experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or production support.

• Experience coaching, instructing, or working as an employee development specialist.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

• Experience designing and delivering leadership or technical development training.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace Manufacturing and/or Lean Certifications.

  • Hands-on background in structural, electrical, seal, repair, systems, or functional test work.

  • Prior work as a mechanic in electrical, mechanical, or structural systems.

  • Experience in job analysis, needs assessment, or curriculum development for aerospace roles.
