Responsibilities:
Deliver technical training in aerospace manufacturing disciplines (e.g., structural, electrical, systems, or quality) and assess learning effectiveness.
Conduct learning needs analyses, establish learning objectives, and create customized training content.
Facilitate instructor-led courses using various delivery methods, including classroom and hands-on settings.
Provide team coaching, observe and track performance, and implement feedback to improve training outcomes.
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify new instructors and ensure delivery consistency.
Emphasize safety protocols during all training and reinforce best practices across technical disciplines.
Evaluate individual and group performance, identify training gaps, and recommend process improvements.
Maintain a positive, policy-aligned learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related work experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or production support.
Experience coaching, instructing, or working as an employee development specialist.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Experience designing and delivering leadership or technical development training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace Manufacturing and/or Lean Certifications.
Hands-on background in structural, electrical, seal, repair, systems, or functional test work.
Prior work as a mechanic in electrical, mechanical, or structural systems.
Experience in job analysis, needs assessment, or curriculum development for aerospace roles.
