ABOUT US

Since 1978, Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737-200C, 300, and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

Air Inuits Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the companys essential mission of providing safe, timely and high-quality air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Northern Quebec.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide customer service for the cargo counter;
  • Provide administrative support to all departments of the station (Base Manager, supervisors and employees)
  • Prepare and follow-up on documents related to purchases, invoices, work orders, P.Os, vehicles, and buildings
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the position as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual written and spoken (French/English), Inuktitut (an asset);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written);
  • Professional attitude, responsible and reliable;
  • The capacity to offer an excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Working knowledge of the Airline industry (an asset).

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Based in Kuujjuaq.
  • Monday to Friday schedule (37.5 hours/week).
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Dynamic and supportive work environment.

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy.
