Job Description:

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Creates the monthly schedule for all the LTCS tooling and test equipment
  • Communicates with shop supervisors to schedule In House calibrations
  • Coordinates the external calibrations with established authorized vendors
  • Request POs for the external calibrations
  • Supports the research for additional vendors as needed
  • Monitors and evaluate the completion of calibrations scheduled monthly with the production shops
  • Develops, implement and maintain instructions for the packaging of complex instrumentation as needed
  • Inspects the tooling, labeling and documentation upon return from vendor to ensure quality control of calibrated tooling
  • Supports inventory activities
  • Complies with all the company policies, procedures, quality and safety requirements

Requirements

The ideal Calibration Lab Planner must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training/ Associate degree desirable
  • 2 years of administrative experience required
  • Experience in requesting POs for the external calibrations desirable
  • Experience with data entry and creating reports desirable
  • Writing work instructions experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Familiar with Metrology or calibration practices and concepts, is highly desirable
  • MS Office as user
  • Excel intermediate
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent quality consciousness
  • Excellent safety and security
  • Excellent customer service
  • Responsible of costs
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
