Summary The Commercial Analyst will support TIMET by capturing and analyzing spanet and competitive information, provide data for budgeting and forecasting , as well as fulfilling analytics activities for the commercial and finance teams. Essential Functions Generates and maintains interactive, predictive models used for profitability estimates for long term agreements. Develop sensitivities for changes in raw materials, inflation, etc. Assists with budget and demand planning process. Conduct ad-hoc analysis on spanet dynamics, such as resource allocation, customer profiles, spanet segment and competitive analysis. Gathers, analyzes and compares competitor data, import and export information and pricing to that of TIMET. Assists manager in identifying spanet trends and makes recommendations of activities that leverage these trends into spaneting strategy. Maintains database to compile, examine and analyze spanet and competitive data. Additional Responsibilities Supporting the competitive analysis in multiple spanets Analysis of demand and supply drivers Analysis of competitive information Analysis of international product flows and trends in support of commercial efforts in the PCC Metals Group including the Energy segment. Analysis of price trends in the spanet Maintain global price lists and price tools Perform price audits to ensure policy compliance Other related duties as assigned.
