Not only will you work in collaboration with E-commerce Traders, Product Designers and Product Owners, and to help shape digital customer journeys, you’ll also innovate and create new improvements off your own back. If there’s an issue within the online customer journey, it will be your job to find it and be part of a solution.
As part of the Digital & Martketing dept, the Content Specialist’s core responsibility will be to work within the Content team to deliver the content strategy by creating, managing, maintaining and protecting the integrity of our customer facing content across all global Digital platforms. This will mainly focus on Virgin Atlantic’s website including English region websites, translated sites, mobile website, apps (and future digital platforms) plus Corporate microsite (Everymundo).
The Content Specialist will be working proactively on project work with all areas of the business, UK and globally, for Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic Holidays to ensure our channels always reflect the image of Virgin Atlantic, our brand values, tone of voice, as well as being a key stakeholder in the communications planning and launching of all major Marketing, Advertising and Product/Service campaigns.
The Content Specialist must therefore be expert in writing copy tailored for the user that also benefits SEO and is fully accessible. They must ensure content delivered is always engaging, inspirational and designed to the highest industry standards resolve any content issues, which may cause a negative user experience or hinder a booking.
