Job Description:

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business goals. This role involves managing HR operations, implementing policies, and fostering a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support business objectives and drive growth.
  • Analyze HR trends to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement.

Talent Acquisition and Development:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Implement training and development programs to support employees’ growth.
  • Develop succession planning to identify and cultivate future leaders.

Employee Relations:

  • Promote a positive work culture that aligns with company values.
  • Address employee issues, manage conflict resolution, and provide support.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee compensation structures, benefits packages, and performance incentives.
  • Evaluate and adjust policies to maintain competitive and fair compensation.
  • Manage benefit programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives.

Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Update company policies, employee handbooks, and procedures.
  • Implement disciplinary policies and manage investigations as needed.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track HR metrics, such as turnover, hiring rates, and employee satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership on HR data and trends.
  • Use analytics to inform strategies that improve HR effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of HR experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and policy management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
