Responsibilities:
Lead the development and delivery of training programs to enhance skills and performance across aerospace manufacturing operations.
Coach and mentor junior instructors while supporting their development and qualification through Train-the-Trainer sessions.
Collaborate with instructional designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create job aids, capstone projects, and guided skill practices.
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to support training development, implementation, and consultation efforts.
Design and assess training effectiveness by measuring outcomes and ensuring alignment with learning objectives.
Monitor evolving business environments and performance metrics to identify training needs and enhancements.
Support curriculum deployment and track implementation success using established development tools and performance monitoring practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with 8+ years, or 14+ years of equivalent industry experience in lieu of a degree.
3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations or manufacturing support roles.
Experience in coaching, instruction, or employee development program delivery.
Background in developing leadership training programs and technical courseware.
Experience interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, or detailed manufacturing work instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace Manufacturing or Lean Certification(s).
Experience in mechanical, structural, electrical, seal, or systems work (e.g., structural assembly, repair, wing/spar assembly, electrician).
Hands-on background as a mechanic or technician in aerospace production environments.
Familiarity with needs assessments and job analysis for training development.
