As a Government Property Administrator, you will play a critical role on a dynamic, fast-paced team, ensuring that Government, Customer, and Raytheon-owned property is effectively managed in accordance with company policies, contract requirements, and applicable regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining key elements of the property management system and may support one or more phases of the asset lifecycle—including acquisition, receiving, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, disposition, and contract closeout.
This position requires a seasoned and self-directed professional with advanced expertise in government property management, including a thorough understanding of FAR 52.245-1. The selected candidate will oversee the complete lifecycle of government and company-owned assets, driving compliance, optimizing performance, and supporting operational excellence across programs and functions.
The position may involve leading small projects or processes, providing guidance to junior staff, and influencing internal and external stakeholders on best practices and regulatory adherence.
This position requires working onsite in the El Segundo, CA location, as a member of our property team to perform and support research, audits, analysis, and system transactions by creating, reviewing, approving, and correcting property records, reports, and systems.
What You Will Do
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of property and assets—from acquisition through final disposition (womb to tomb)—in alignment with program requirements and regulatory standards.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 and other applicable regulations to ensure full compliance with government property requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members; contribute to training initiatives and performance development.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve moderately complex property-related issues by applying industry best practices
- Maintain accurate property records and supporting documentation to ensure audit-readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and government agencies, to address and resolve property-related matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on policies and procedures, contributing to enterprise-wide consistency and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to contract terms, regulatory guidance, and internal procedures governing customer-owned property.
- Coordinate with site leadership and functional teams to enforce compliance with standardized property control processes.
- Compile and present accurate property reports and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct physical inventories, perform records reconciliation, and ensure timely reporting of variances.
- Manage property disposition and closeout activities, including loss reporting and final reconciliations for assigned contracts.
- Analyze system-generated reports to identify discrepancies, system errors, and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience.
- Experience with Government Property, Inventory, or Supply Chain.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Management of government property.
- NPMA certification preferred.
- SAP experience or other property management system experience preferred.
- Experience supporting DCMA and customer audits.
- Microsoft office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1

We Are RTX
The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
