Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety role in a manufacturing industry, preferably in the aerospace or defense manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Cal-OSHA and other relevant health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills when working on projects including monitoring project progress, potential impacts on schedule and budget. Identifies and anticipates problems and offers solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to conduct effective training sessions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
- U.S. Citizenship per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with ISO 45001 or similar health and safety management systems.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
- Experience of transformational projects in a manufacturing environment or complex launch projects including the introduction of new equipment, processes, and workforce into a manufacturing environment and performing associated safety risk assessments
- Experience in conducting ergonomic assessments.
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, preferably in a matrix environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Compensation Data
Compensation Range: $80,869.00 - $101,087.00
