With the addition of new destinations and our continued growth, Norwegian is establishing an additional position within the Inflight Retail team.

 

The Inflight Retail team is responsible for managing and overseeing the sale of retail products on flights while ensuring smooth and seamless inflight retail related operations.

For the Inflight Retail Coordinator, this includes a variety of tasks and functions. Here are the primary responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor and follow up on daily inflight retail operational performance;
  • Collaborate with external partners to track operational KPIs and performance on the agreed service level targets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and cabin crew, to share relevant updates and gather input and feedback on operational performance.
  • Initiate activities to continuously improve costs and efficiency within Last Mile Handling services.
  • Analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive the necessary actions.

The Inflight Retail Operations Coordinator position is based at Fornebu, and reports to VP Inflight Retail.

You are our ideal candidate if:

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excel knowledge and ability to analyze and develop performance reports
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a high-pace environment
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly
  • Previous experience within airline industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral).
  • Scandianvian language is an advantage.

 

 

 

 

 

In this role you will be responsible for: 

 

  • Monitor and follow-up on daily operational performance
  • Together with external partners, follow up operational KPI’s performance and SLA (Service Level Agreement) targets
  • Initiate, implement and monitor the performance of agreed corrective actions
  • Continually review processes with target of improving efficiencies and introduce solutions to minimize cost
  • Collaborate closely with external stakeholders – provider of retail services and providers of last mile handling services for delivering on the agreed service targets
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders – Operations department, cabin crew representatives for sharing the relevant updates and gathering the required frontline input and feedback on operational performance
  • Initiate activities for continuous cost and efficiency improvements within Last Mile Handling services
  • Be the point of contact on behalf of Inflight for Charter flights etc.
  • Be the point of contact for any operational discrepancies.
