The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Supply Support Team. IBCS provides Command/Control and Integrated Fire Control capabilities for a distributed Air and Missile Defense Enterprise. The primary responsibilities involve the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. In this role, the logistics management analyst will ensure the execution of standard logistics processes including the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. These activities will include the efficient flow of spares, tracking vendor repairs, performing warehouse support, work order processing, and reporting of material disposition. Ability to travel required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serves as a consultant to management regarding logistics policies, plans, and objectives
Conducts work order management for field repairs by opening work orders for Field Service Representatives (FSR), updating work orders during repair activities, and closing work orders at the completion of repair activities
Maintains accountability of spares and facilitates material distribution in support of field repairs
Collects and reports data, metrics, and status of operations
Attends boards and meetings to track the disposition of materials
Accounts for and maintains records of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
Operates information management systems to maintain records and provide status and reporting
Reports cost and schedule information for items dispositioned for vendor repair
Represents the organization as a prime contact to customer counterpart
Develops and delivers presentations to program and customer leadership
Demonstrates ability to properly package and handle equipment during shipping and receiving
Supports material fielding with inventories and handover documentation
This Position can be filled as a Logistics Management Analyst (level 2) or Principal Logistics Management Analyst (level 3
Basic Qualifications:
Level 2 Education Requirements: Minimum experience: 7 years with high school diploma or GED; 3 years with a bachelor’s degree; 1 year with a Masters
Level 3 Education Requirements: Minimum experience: 10 years with high school diploma or GED; 6 years with a bachelor’s degree; 4 years with a Masters
Complete understanding of the material replenishment system
Experience in the performance of sparing operations and material control
Experience in estimating resource requirements
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Logistics disciplines
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience tracking material disposition in SAP
Experience in receiving, maintaining, and the accountability of GFE
HazMat certified
IUID spaning and processes
Experience using the COLTS database
Salary Range: $77,000 - $115,400
Salary Range 2: $62,600 - $93,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
