Roles and Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines, automated processes, and robotics
- Deliver processes as part of a manufacturing engineering team
- Define and control production process including tooling and equipment
- Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
- Develop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
- Work together with business leadership (business leaders, plant leaders, etc.)
- Specify needs, communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research done
- Work directly with production employees and on cross functional teams
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of automated milling/edge contour process (milling, vibratory, slurry, robots, etc.)
- Program experience with milled, turned, shaped, and ground features
- Must have knowledge of GE Aviation specs relating to edge contour criteria
- Robotic edge contour experience
- Previous experience as a process engineer producing rotating parts for jet engines
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)
