Minimum Education
High school diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (G.E.D. - demonstrated satisfactory performance in the General Educational Development Testing Program)
Minimum Experience
- Two to three (2-3) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years experience substitution must be in related field.
- One to two (1-2) years’ work experience needs to be in a business office environment.
- One to two (1-2) years’ employment with FlightSafety that includes a demonstrable understanding of FSI’s basic operations, business processes and the use of the SAP system (especially the Orion function) in developing and retrieving information needed to make business decisions.
- Previous experience working within a SAP system is required. Basic understanding of SAP product hierarchy and Bill of Material (BOM) structure preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read and write. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Type/keyboard 40+ wpm (computer user with minimum typing/keyboard skills), preferred.
- Knowledge of IT systems is a plusKnowledge of management principles and their applications.
- Project Management skills are essential.
- Self-starter who is goal oriented and willing to work with other individuals throughout the enterprise.Ability to work unsupervised, as needed.
- Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional mannerAbility to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- IBM PC and/or compatible computer with printerVarious office equipment: FAX, Copier, and Multi-line Telephone.
SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Corporate: SAP ECC, SAP CRM, Enterprise Applications, ORION, Logbook, SalesLogix, preferred.
- General knowledge of the following software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.Schedule-MS OutlookDatabase:-MS Access, preferred.
- Other software programs may be required, as needed.
