BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or 10+ years of professional work in the aerospace industry.
- 3+ years of professional experience as an integrated master scheduler.
- Experience with medium to large sized (2000-8000 lines) projects.
- Experience with generating master schedules from many sub-tier projects.
- 4+ years of professional experience utilizing Microsoft Project.
- Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI clearance or DOE Level Q clearance.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Understanding of the aerospace engineering lifecycle
- Demonstrated acumen with developing and coordinating the on-time execution of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering project
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Milestones Professional, OnePager Pro or equivalent.
- Coursework or training in Critical Path Analysis methodology.
- Experience performing schedule risk analysis techniques.
- Experience with resource loaded schedules.
- Experience analyzing schedules using Industry Standard Health Metrics.
- Strong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills including public speaking.
- Able to work and communicate well with others in a team environment.
- Able to be diplomatically persuasive or assertive when necessary.
- Highly skilled at taking in large quantities of information and presenting it in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work with limited supervision to develop and manage many levels of program plans and schedules simultaneously.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Must be willing to travel (approximately 10%) to other SpaceX locations, as necessary.
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg.
- Must be willing to work long hours and occasional weekends when necessary to support proposal or critical project timelines.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Master Scheduler: $110,000.00-$145,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program.
