Job Summary
The Portfolio Management Analyst is responsible for enhancing project portfolio processes and structures, by establishing and maintaining project portfolio governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. This includes supporting the PMO with project prioritization and selection, as well as tracking and reporting costs, risks and change enablement pipelines across the portfolio.
Responsibilities

Indicate the approximate percentage of total working time spent on each major work activity. Duties that represent less than five percent will be grouped in other duties as required.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio reporting system. Lead in implementation and administration of portfolio management tool and supporting standards.
- Enable regular portfolio governance activities (content coordination and aggregation, and forum facilitation). Establish and maintain project portfolio governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with standards and practices across the project portfolio.
- Work closely with PMO project managers and project leads to ensure effective portfolio management. Analyzing portfolio performance metrics, including project status and budget. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing project prioritization and selection.
- Facilitate design, configuration and administration of team SharePoint site, Creation of libraries, navigation pages, lists and permissions
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to portfolio governance processes
- Provide guidance and training on governance processes and portfolio management tools. Facilitate go-live readiness framework tracking and reporting for all efforts across project portfolio. Lead or assist ad-hoc session preparation, facilitation, and output transcription
- Collaborate with project managers, project sponsors and finance teams to monitor alignment between project goals and financial outcomes. Ensure project portfolio risks are routinely assessed and mitigated with project leads
- Develop and maintain detailed project financial models to track costs, revenues, and other financial metrics throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate comprehensive cost-benefit analyses for various operations projects. Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and work closely with project managers to address financial issues in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Project Management or similar role.
- Ability to collaborate with PMO and project stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task across portfolio governance and ad-hoc project requests, and efficiently prioritize activities to optimally support PMO leadership and the organization
- Must be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks a plus
- Proficiency in portfolio management software and tools a plus
- Experience in project portfolio management, governance, or a related role a plus
- Proficiency in financial modeling a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, industrial engineering or related field required.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Remain in a stationary position 50 of the time.
