Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for up to 33 company codes
  • Prepares, documents, and disburses payroll checks; calculates gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, FLSA Overtime calculations, etc.)
  • Maintains payroll-specific records and reconciles data; troubleshoots any issues that arise.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly payroll tax reporting and research and resolve payroll/tax reporting issues.
  • Assist with year-end reconciliation of payroll reporting, workers comp reporting and 401k reconciliation.
  • Provide guidance to plant HR leaders and Finance staff, answers questions regarding payroll matters.

Knowledge:

  • Requires intermediate level skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
  • Multi-state payroll experience highly desired.
  • Canadian payroll processing or international payroll experience a plus.
  • Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Ability to prioritize work with high volume data, meet established deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, while working in a team or group environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written, with customers, employees, and management regarding highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Tax experience including state and local registrations, tax amendments and W2c experience.

Skills:

  • ADP payroll experience a must, Workforce Now or Vantage version preferred
  • Experience with ADP Time & Attendance, or eTime
  • Intermediate Excel experience required.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, and Teams

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

4-6 years payroll experience

Certifications:

CPP or FPC a plus

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $48880.00 to $73320.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
