This role is not fully virtual - it will offer partial telework, but candidates must be local to Irving, TX.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support weekly and bi weekly ad hoc payroll processing
- Load supplemental pay file upon request
- Identify and resolve errors during processing
- Validate regression testing and coordinate through error resolution
- Support SAP files loads
- Generate basic Ad hoc query requests
- Work closely with management in preparation for compliance audits and other projects as needed
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma and four years of related education (business, accounting or relevant work experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Payroll processing experience including relevant regulatory requirements; internal policy and procedure; accounting practices; system software requirements
- Proven SAP/S4 experience
- Knowledge of FLSA, Federal State Laws
- The ability to perform basic payroll calculations
- Fundamentals of payroll certificate (within first 12 months completion requirement)
- Certified payroll professional certificate (within first 18 months completion requirement
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience working in shared service or center of excellent environment
Salary Range: $77,000 - $115,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
