As a Production Scheduler II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. With your expertise in production scheduling and inventory management, you will contribute to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Materials Management Manager, and youll work out of our Danville, KY location.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our ability to meet customer demands and improve operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources. By optimizing production schedules and streamlining resource allocation, you will contribute to cost savings and improved customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources for production.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production delays and inefficiencies.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills 
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and their applications in production control.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
