QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

Job Description:

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for a QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST in BRIDGEPORT, WV

Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for all quality-related topics within the 3PL Program
Lead all investigations related to audit findings
Lead root cause analysis and resolution efforts related to Pratt SCARs and DIVEs
Author Standardized Work and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and drive process improvements by accessing your resources (Resident Professionals) in each dept
Assess the effectiveness of current training programs, identify areas for improvement and revise/update training materials
Additional duties may be added as the position evolves

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance or related field
2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Compliance within the aviation/aerospace industry
Working knowledge of ISO:9001 and/or AS9110 standards
All applicants must be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude, and be willing to contribute effectively as part of a team
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory

Preferred Skills:

Microsoft Office 365, preferably Word & PowerPoint
Previous Auditing experience or training
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
