Primary Job Duties
- Determine work scope and the service vendor to be utilized to repair all parts removed from SkyWest aircraft
- Determine warranty eligibility on aircraft parts to give the best value to SkyWest
- Evaluate repair quotes to confirm vendor repaired parts as required per SkyWest and FAA standards, and ensure cost, quality, and deadlines are met
- Review and negotiate warranty claims and ensure all parameters are met for warranty reimbursements
- Collect bids, and purchase high-dollar aircraft parts
- Communicate effectively with SkyWest personnel, vendors, and part brokers
