Safety professional with 0-2 years’ experience.
Lead for hazardous material coordination storage and disposal.
Coordinates material disposal with employees, tenants, and vendors.
Reports disposal quantities.
Supports development/management of hazmat locations including satellite accumulation areas and long-term storage.
Inspects work areas for spills in accordance with the SPCC policy.
Performs spill cleanup as needed or assigned.
Works with manager on all hazmat related topics such as training, spill drills, spill kit inventory providing input on corrective actions as needed.
Communication with internal employees, tenants, contactors, and vendors.
Perform routine inspections of equipment and systems. For example, eye wash stations, first aid kits, spill kits, and fire extinguishers.
Support emergencies as needed.
HAZWOPER training completion is a plus but not required. JMI will provide the necessary training.
