Job Summary: As a Senior IT Asset Management Analyst, you will take a leadership position in managing the lifecycle of software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and optimizing software usage across the enterprise. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Software Asset Management strategies, conducting in-depth analyses of software inventory, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Software Asset Management strategies to optimize usage and reduce costs
- Ensure ongoing compliance with software licensing agreements and regulations, conducting regular audits to identify and mitigate risks
- Maintain and oversee a detailed inventory of software assets, including licenses, installations, and usage metrics to support informed decision-making
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and legal teams to align software asset management initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Analyze software usage data to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and potential areas for cost savings; generate and present reports to stakeholders
- Mentor and lead the Analyst I & II teams, providing guidance and support
- Stay informed about industry best practices, licensing trends, and regulatory changes affecting software asset management
