Responsibilities

Job Summary:

 

Responsible for processing accurate, timely and CBA  (Collective Bargaining Agreement) compliant crew payroll for pilots and/or flight attendants.  Maintains accurate PTO (Paid Time Off) balances for all flight crew.  The Crew Pay Specialist coordinates with Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling and Crew Training (when applicable) to ensure the proper coding is on the master schedule.

 

  • Perform daily / near-real time audit of the current and/or previous month for crew members pay.
  • Maintain accurate PTO balances, usage and accruals for all crew members, including those on leave.
  • Communicate daily with crew members regarding their pay related concerns.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service standards at all times.
  • Consider all aspects of quality assurance checklist prior to closing one month and beginning quality assurance on the next. 
  • Completes work with minimal assistance.
  • Complete regular payroll audit calculations adhering to the Collective Bargaining Agreement rules.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years experience required. 
  • Microsoft software knowledge required.
  • Sabre Crew Trac Knowledge preferred. 
  • Payroll/analytical experience preferred.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and direction.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Travel requirements: Up to 10 of the time.
