Responsibilities:
Lead workshops and contribute to process solutioning across SAP PP and related modules.
Collaborate with business SMEs, solution architects, developers, and vendor consultants to enhance current systems and deliver scalable SAP solutions.
Execute full-cycle configuration in SAP PP, translating business needs into technical requirements with comprehensive documentation.
Develop and test WRICEF objects in coordination with the ABAP team, including test planning, script preparation, unit testing, and integration testing.
Translate functional specifications into application design documents and support SAP development efforts.
Participate in test cycles, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely defect resolution.
Utilize SAP Solution Manager to support configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
Contribute to project planning using SAP Activate methodology and Agile/SAFe development practices.
Leverage experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) and SAP Fiori applications to support manufacturing operations.
Stay current with the S/4HANA roadmap, features across releases, and innovations impacting production planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8–10 years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), including at least one full-cycle implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
Deep knowledge of SAP PP configuration, including:
Material master, BOMs, routings, work centers, MRP areas, strategy groups, and lot sizing procedures.
Advanced routing, capacity leveling, and technical BOMs.
Stock requirements planning, scrap management, backflush, and Fiori-based planning apps.
Strong experience with interfaces, batch jobs, standard reports, and user exits.
Familiarity with SAP Project Systems (PS) and working knowledge of WBS elements.
Experience in Aerospace and Defense industry environments is a strong advantage.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of discrete and repetitive manufacturing and their configurations.
Familiarity with interchangeability, ECM/OCM, batch/serial number management, and central function activities.
Integration knowledge across Sales, Procurement, Quality, Costing, and Plant Maintenance.
Working knowledge of S/4HANA PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).
Exposure to SAP Quality Management (QM) is a plus.
SAP certifications in S/4HANA and/or SAP Project Systems (PS).
