The Talent Acquisition Intern will work alongside the AEVEX Talent Acquisition Team to shadow and assist with various recruitment processes. This may include sourcing and screening candidates, updating and maintaining applicant tracking systems, and coordinating interviews.
As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will support the recruiting team in identifying and attracting top talent. You will assist with candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and various administrative tasks related to recruitment. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to develop a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations.

Essential Functions:
- Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Team to learn the day-to-day functions of the department.
- Assist with reviewing applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
- Assist with posting openings to appropriate Internet sources, researching new ways to use the Internet for recruiting, and use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
- Assist with contacting prospective candidates through InMail, email, and job board messaging functions.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Perform reference checks for potential employees.
- Communicate with candidates to provide updates, answer questions, and guide them through the hiring process.
- Support employer branding initiatives, including social media content and recruitment marketing.
- Perform research on hiring trends and recruitment strategies to enhance our processes.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
- Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices.

Qualifications and Competencies
- Strong interest in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ATS software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education / Certifications
- Recent degree or currently enrolled in a bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- Experience • 0-2+ years of recruiting, Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.
