As the Talent Development Specialist at CAE, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in our employees development and promote an engaging employee experience. You will be responsible for coordinating, designing, developing, and implementing training programs, to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance across the company. Your role will support the Talent Management team in delivering on the training and development roadmap. This role involves collaborating with external stakeholders, identifying training needs, creating engaging training materials, and being involved in delivering effective training sessions to support employee development and growth.
Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure smooth deployment of programs and ensure they meet the needs of the company and participants, maintain relationships, and collaborate with external providers. (Language programs, Women development programs)
Create modern, engaging, and interactive training content that aligns with company goals and adult learning principles. (e-learning modules, microlearning, training, written guides, and other resources aimed to enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies)
Manage and regularly maintain the internal Learning Management System (LMS) and related training resources and stakeholders including uploading and updating training content.
Generate reports and follow metrics to track participation and engagement with various programs.
Collaborate with Talent Management Practices, Human Resources Business Partners and subject mater experts to understand and analyze the needs and issues related to improving employee engagement, skills training, and leadership development and aligning with company objectives.
Occasionally get involved to promote learning culture, provide support in the facilitation of communities of practice, as well as townhall/training sessions related to your area of expertise to managers or HRBPs.
Our ideal candidate has:
Bacheloru2019s degree in the field of Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education or Instructional Technology or equivalent combination of related training and experience.
2-5 years of job-related experience
Takes initiative, autonomous and willing to learn.
Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage diverse projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in designing and implementing innovative content and training programs, both online and in-person.
Familiar with learning management systems administration (LMS), especially Workday Learning, including course deployment, content management, user support and reporting or closely related experience.
Familiar with modern adult learning principles, instructional design models, and modern learning technology trends and tools.
Communication skills in both English and French languages (written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of Excel and other tools of the MS Office suite
Knowledge of training design platforms (Articulate, Storyline and Rise)
Experience in training, and leadership development training is a plus.
