Job Title: Electrical Data & Controls Technician
Location: Cocoa, Florida
Overview
Join our mission to revolutionize space travel and enable Mars colonization. As an Electrical Data & Controls Technician, you’ll support the design, build, and launch of advanced rockets and spacecraft!
Pay & Per Diem- Level 1:$28–$31/hr
- Level 2:$32–$37/hr
- Level 3:$38–$43/hr
- Level 4:$44–$45/hr
- Per Diem:$128/day (up to 7 days/week, max 12 months)
Key Responsibilities- Install and terminate wiring, connectors, and cable assemblies
- Perform continuity checks and troubleshoot wiring issues
- Support technicians and engineers with tools and equipment
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve test data issues
- Create work instructions and generate purchase orders
- Lead complex projects with minimal supervision
- Install and modify conduit, cable trays, and AC power systems (up to 480VAC)
- Build and maintain PLC-based systems and support structures
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate degree in Aerospace Technology or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years with instrumentation (transducers, accelerometers, thermocouples)
- Proficient with hand/power tools and wire terminations
- Experience with PLC systems and launch site instrumentation (preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO 9000, IPC-620, IPC-610 standards (a plus)
Work Environment- Climate-controlled, high-tech facility
- 10–12 hour shifts, 5–6 days/week (start times: 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM)
- Hands-on work with cutting-edge electrical systems
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $44.00/hr.
