Avionics - Senior Level
Performs COMPLEX production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
Technical/Software Skills:
• Route of wire harness to supports per blueprint instruction & specifications for the program.
• Build connectors, splice wires, crimp, and terminate wires..
• Install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.
• Perform repairs and rework processes to incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineering instructions.
• Fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing, routing and installation.
• Bond & Ground operations to include CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation & resistance testing.
Requirements/Years of experience/Etc. that you are looking for.
• 7 or more years experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
• 7 or more years experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
• 7 or more years experience in an advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power, and pneumatic (air) tools.
• 7 or more years experience with various wiring design drawings including system interconnects, wire routing and equipment installation drawings
Physical demands (if any):
1. Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).
2. Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds.
3. Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
