Join a dynamic production team focused on assembling parts for satellite systems. This role involves manual labor in a production line, ensuring the accurate assembly of satellite sub-assembly parts using various hand tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as part of a production team to assemble parts.
- Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
- Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts.
- Utilize various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
- Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
- Pack, seal, and move boxes efficiently.
- Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
- Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, wiring, avionics, bench work, electronics, and electrical tasks.
- High aptitude to work with small electronics, including soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- Associates degree or certificate in a technical area.
- Assembly or manufacturing experience.
- Experience in the space or aeronautical field.
