Job Description

Join a dynamic production team focused on assembling parts for satellite systems. This role involves manual labor in a production line, ensuring the accurate assembly of satellite sub-assembly parts using various hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a production team to assemble parts.
• Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
• Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts.
• Utilize various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
• Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
• Pack, seal, and move boxes efficiently.
• Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
• Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

• Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, wiring, avionics, bench work, electronics, and electrical tasks.
• High aptitude to work with small electronics, including soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associates degree or certificate in a technical area.
• Assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience in the space or aeronautical field.

Work Environment

Work in a clean room environment, specifically designed for bench work that requires precision and cleanliness. The role demands attention to detail and adherence to cleanroom protocols to ensure the highest quality of assembled satellite systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Midland, Texas.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
