Job Description:

American Aviation is now hiring experienced Avionics Technicians.

Immediate placement for qualified candidates!

Installation, troubleshooting, and/or repairs of electrical/avionics equipment and systems. Routes wire throughout aircraft tying into both new and factory-installed wire bundles. Perform functional check-out and troubleshooting of all wiring systems. Care and precision must be exercised in order to ensure quality installations, on-time deliveries, and satisfied customers.

Job Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of Garmin, Aspen, Bendix King, and GA avionics systems
  • Able to read and understand wiring diagrams and installation drawings
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines.
  • Basic tools required.

Minimum Experience & Education

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience installing and troubleshooting avionics on small to medium corporate jet and turboprop aircraft

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Be physically able to perform aircraft avionics installations
  • Stand, squat, sit, walk, and work with arms overhead for extended periods of time.
  • Pull, push, and lift up to 50 lbs.
