Lead and manage the avionics team, including Lead Avionics Technicians and junior technicians.
Hire, train, and evaluate team members to foster continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews with constructive feedback to enhance team capabilities.
Oversee avionics maintenance and repair operations in compliance with FAA regulations.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules, workflows, and procedures for efficiency.
Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance work and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with the Chief Inspector to uphold quality control and inspection standards.
Manage inventory and procurement of avionics parts and supplies.
Develop and oversee departmental budgets for cost-effective operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and FAA regulations.
Respond to aircraft incidents, providing solutions and technical guidance.
