* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
* MRO experience, CRJ airframe experience, and/or Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) are a plus.
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or FAA Airframe license.
* Personal set of tools.
* Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Preferred Skills
* GROL certification or Aircraft Electronics Technician certification.
* Certification from an avionics or electrical aircraft technical school or equivalent military training. Job Duties & Functions
* Install and test complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
* Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
* Perform and document all work in accordance with applicable manuals and regulatory requirements.
* Remove, repair, and reinstall avionics equipment prior to aircraft release.
* Assemble and install electrical components.
* Operate ground support equipment as required.
* Accurately diagnose avionics system issues.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of all repairs and work performed on aircraft. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Ability to work in hangar or production environments with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
* Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
* Ability to lift and maneuver tools, equipment, and aircraft components as required.
