The role involves heavy maintenance on general aviation turboprop aircraft and corporate jet aircraft. The technician will work in a dynamic environment, engaging with diverse airframes and unique projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance on general aviation turboprop aircraft and corporate jet aircraft.
• Work with avionics systems and harness wiring schematics.
• Terminate connectors and utilize various types of crimpers (at least 3 or more).
• Conduct inspections and phase maintenance on aircraft such as Cessna, Falcon, Hawker, Gulfstream, Challenger, Bombardier, Beechcraft, Learjet.
• Engage in aircraft repair and maintenance for corporate and general aviation.

• Minimum of 4 years experience in avionics.
• Ability to terminate connectors and work with multiple types of crimpers.
• Experience in aviation maintenance, including inspection and heavy maintenance.
• Capability to work with schematics and avionic systems.

• Experience in installations.
• Familiarity with Garmin systems.
• Background in general aviation and former military service.

Work Environment

Technicians work in climate-controlled FAA-regulated hangars, ensuring a comfortable and professional setting. The schedule is Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional overtime. The dress code is casual, promoting a relaxed and approachable atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
