Our team is dedicated to excellence in aviation maintenance, and we’re seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our growing team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Avionics Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems on various aircraft models. The ideal candidate will have expertise in avionics, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems, including communication, navigation, autopilot, and instrumentation systems. 
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter avionics in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications. 
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and avionics issues using diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. 
  • Conduct system upgrades, modifications, and retrofits as required. 
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, and company policies. 
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logbooks, and documentation for all avionics work. 
  • Collaborate with A&P mechanics, pilots, and maintenance managers to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems. 
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 
  • Stay current with industry advancements, manufacturer service bulletins, and avionics technology trends.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (preferred but not required). 
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in helicopter avionics maintenance (preferred models include Bell, Cessna, or Robinson aircraft). 
  • Strong knowledge of avionics systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques. 
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and avionics test equipment. 
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed. 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 
  • Experience with Garmin or Wescam avionics systems is a plus. 
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) or avionics-specific certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 
  • Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
