LAC Avionics, Inc. is a Part 145 Avionics Repair Station that specializes in avionics installation, testing, and repair in General Aviation and Corporate Aircraft.

Work to be performed:

• Avionics Installations (GPS, Nav/Coms, Flight Displays, Autopilots, Engine Monitors, Radars, Etc.) including wiring harness fabrication, modification of aircraft wiring, minor sheet metal work, configuration, and testing.
• Avionics Repair including reading of wiring schematics, use of multi-meter and bench test equipment, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Pitot/Static/RVSM/Transponder certification testing.

• Able to pass a background check for Airport SIDA Badge privileges.
• Able to pass random drug screening if hired.
• Able to lift 50lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Self-motivated with good work ethic, ability to problem solve, and think critically.  

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years of Avionics experience
• A&P ratings
• Knowledge of modern aftermarket avionics installation/repair including Garmin, Aspen, Bendix/King, Collins, Etc.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with general aviation aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Etc.)
