We are looking for an experienced Avionics Technician with expertise in cable lay-ins, terminations, crimping, pinning, and soldering. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. You will be responsible for documenting work performed, controlling equipment status tags, logging critical information during installations, and verifying parts requests. You must be able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals, and use a variety of manual hand tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.
• Document work performed and control equipment status tags.
• Log critical information during installation and verify parts requests.
• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Use manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, and heat shrink guns.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team members and supervision.
• Perform duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical conditions while wearing required safety equipment.

• Avionics troubleshooting and functional testing.
• Experience with aircraft avionics systems and wiring.
• Proficiency in soldering and coaxial installations.
• Ability to perform avionics installation and repair.
• Knowledge of aircraft electronics and maintenance.
• Experience with aircraft assembly.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience preferred.
• Military experience considered.
• Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.
• Overall understanding of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
