Position Overview:
Join a dynamic team supporting avionics operations in a helicopter repair station adjacent to a major corporate manufacturing facility. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced helicopter models, including the AW139, in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Technicians will begin on a 4–6 month contract with strong potential for direct hire. Out-of-town candidates are eligible for a competitive per diem package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform avionics maintenance and inspections on civilian helicopters
- Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings
- Support heavy maintenance and repair operations
- Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance and other team members to ensure aircraft readiness
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of civilian aircraft maintenance experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience with inspections and heavy maintenance tasks
- Valid driver’s license required
- Prior experience with civilian helicopter models is highly desirable
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $30–$48/hour, based on experience
- Per Diem: $160/day (up to 5 days/week) for eligible out-of-town candidates
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
