Description:
The CH-47 Aircraft Avionics Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining avionics and electrical systems on CH-47 Chinook helicopters. This includes troubleshooting communication, navigation, flight control, and mission systems to ensure the aircraft meets operational and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on avionics systems.
- Install, test, and calibrate avionics and electrical components.
- Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance and safety regulations.
- Document all repairs and maintenance actions in accordance with military and OEM standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in CH-47 avionics maintenance.
- Military or FAA avionics certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Army aviation maintenance procedures (TAMMS-A).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex avionics systems.
- Ability to work in high-tempo operational environments.
