Job Title:Electrical Data & Controls Technician

Join SpaceX’s mission to revolutionize space travel and enable Mars colonization. As an Electrical Data & Controls Technician, you’ll support the design, build, and launch of advanced rockets and spacecraft including Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, and Starship.

• Level 1:$28–$31/hr
• Level 2:$32–$37/hr
• Level 3:$38–$43/hr
• Level 4:$44–$45/hr
• Per Diem:$128/day (up to 7 days/week, max 12 months)

• Install and terminate wiring, connectors, and cable assemblies
• Perform continuity checks and troubleshoot wiring issues
• Support technicians and engineers with tools and equipment
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve test data issues
• Create work instructions and generate purchase orders
• Lead complex projects with minimal supervision
• Install and modify conduit, cable trays, and AC power systems (up to 480VAC)
• Build and maintain PLC-based systems and support structures

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate degree in Aerospace Technology or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years with instrumentation (transducers, accelerometers, thermocouples)
• Proficient with hand/power tools and wire terminations
• Experience with PLC systems and launch site instrumentation (preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO 9000, IPC-620, IPC-610 standards (a plus)

• Climate-controlled, high-tech facility
• 10–12 hour shifts, 5–6 days/week (start times: 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM)
• Hands-on work with cutting-edge electrical systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $44.00/hr.
