JOB TITLE: RS Avionics Installer II
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $30.17/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment according to blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

Maintain required logs and records.

Complete tasks within the allotted timeframe.

Ensure all work meets regulatory and customer specifications.

Inspect completed work to ensure a defect-free assembly before final inspection.

Follow all company programs and procedures including FOD prevention, tool control, 5S, and safety protocols.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by the supervisor.

Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

One of the following required:

Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling

Two (2) years of related work experience

Avionics certificate from an accredited school and one (1) year of related work experience

Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer proficiency and software knowledge

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
