This temporary position reports to the 119 Director of Operations and supports our flight operations team by ensuring accurate data entry, effective communication, and compliance with operational protocols. Strong communication skills are essential to ensure all requirements are met efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will embody the company’s values and culture while collaborating with the flight following team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update flight records, fuel logs, and related documentation.
- Assist with data entry and ensure thoroughness and accuracy in flight tracking systems.
- Organize and maintain operational files, reports, and compliance records.
- Support the flight operations team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and preparing correspondence.
- Prepare and organize flight-related documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures through proper documentation management.
- Perform general office support duties to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
- Develop and document operational and/or organizational processes to simplify workflow.
- Document workflow processes to develop standard practices and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualification Requirements
- Previous experience in aviation operations, dispatch, flight following, or a related administrative support role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and aviation tracking software preferred.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation terminology is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings on site.
- Desire to further education and advance to Dispatch position or other positions within the System Operations Control (SOC)
