RF Integration & Test Engineer job in Fort Wayne, Indiana with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace and Defense company. In this job you will utilize your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles to prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle while planning technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluating new RF and GPS/Navigation systems, products and special devices
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of new theories and methods related to RF and GPS/Navigation Systems
- Propose ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicit input, and optimize solutions
- Plan technical approaches, resources, schedule, budget and equipment required for testing and evaluating new systems, products and special devices
- Executes test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle
- Prepares test and diagnostic programs, test fixtures and equipment and completes specifications and procedures for new products
- Develop and conduct functional, environmental, operational, and performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
- Isolate and document issues and defects
- Keeps abreast of technology trends
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Proficient experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
- Proficient understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories related to RF and GPS/Navigation Systems
- Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
