About the Role:

As an AME working on the Leonardo Helicopters AW169, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our fleet. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing aircraft, as well as accurately documenting all maintenance activities. This role offers the chance to work with advanced aviation technology and be part of a team that prioritizes safety, precision, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, adjustments, modifications, testing, diagnosis, and repair of AW169 aircraft.
  • Create and complete task cards and work packs using WinAir or similar maintenance programs.
  • Utilize specialized aviation tools, power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and ensure all activities are properly documented.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in aircraft cleaning duties for both interior and exterior (excluding medical biohazards).
  • Collaborate efficiently with team members and work independently as needed.
  • Comply with all Transport Canada guidelines and company safety policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
  • Experienced with rotary-wing aircraft, particularly the Leonardo AW169 or other AW-family helicopters.
  • Proficient in using maintenance software such as WinAir.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Physically capable of sitting, crouching, standing, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Willing and able to undertake shift work, including working at heights.
  • Eligible for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and holds a valid Canadian driver’s license.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada and able to obtain a Canadian passport if necessary.
