- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop advanced manufacturing and manufacturing engineering and technical activities to ensure their initiatives meets established targets and standards.
- Implement, oversee, and adapt policies and activities of the advanced*/manufacturing engineering function and encourage the exchange of information, ideas and techniques in the various engineering fields, in order to support the operations.
- Appointed as the main technical liaison with external parties such as customers, auditors/ assessors & regulatory, Engineering lead for Flight Safety Board.
- Review advanced manufacturing and manufacturing engineering methods, policies and procedures to meet technical goals.
- Drive NX compliant for all Process Planning, Programming, Tooling & Inspection Planning.
- Drive automation & digitalization initiatives across Singapore Ops sites.
- Participate in M.R.B. activities and critical customer escape responses.
- Define and review CAPEX plan for the Cell/Line/Site related to new technology, capacity growth, infrastructure, facilities and advanced manufacturing and manufacturing strategy.
- Ensure that each Cell/Line/Site is executing the plan as committed in the financial annual operating plan.
- Monitor industry trends, and developments in advanced manufacturing and manufacturing engineering technology; evaluate and recommend investments in equipment, systems, or other assets that will improve the organization’s production capabilities.
- Establish operating budgets; monitor the cost, effectiveness, and reliability of engineering activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that standards are met.
- Forge and maintain a productive working partnership with internal and external partners in the facility and overseas sites.
- Support talents development for succession planning, staff career development and establish bench strength in key technical expertise (For Lead/Manager only).
- Maintain site Technological Control Plan (TCP) & export compliance requirements together with the site ITC Manager/Officer (or equivalent).
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor degree in Manufacturing/Production Engineering;
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Preferably with managerial/leadership experience.
