Job Description:
Development of the Finite Element Models (FEM) to be used for Static and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis.
Support to FEM generation used by Flight Physics and other organizations.
Assure and control FEM links with Digital Mock-Up to assure digital continuity.
Selection of the Finite Elements (FE) Analysis tool according to the requirements.
Assure Data Management and Data storage.
Verify FE Results post-processing and connection to Structural Analysis process (data and formats compatible to Structural Analysis tools).
Assure connection and compatibility with Loads and Weight and Balance, verifying Loads to Global FEM (GFEM) application and GFEM to detailed FEM (DFEM) loads continuity.
Identify representative Boundary Conditions, support, contacts and interfaces.
Development of modelling guidelines and Verification & Validation process to support structural analysis process.
Advanced FE Analysis skills:
• FE Solutions modifications and management (Nastran Direct Matrix Abstraction Program (DMAP), Sub structuring, Implicit/Explicit, …).
• Material model selection and FE implementation: Non-linearity, material damage models, failure models…
• Solution selection for large displacement behavior : non-linearity Required High knowledge of structural behavior for Optimization analysis.
