As the Software Tech Lead, youll play a crucial role, spending 50 of your time actively contributing to software development for HAS, 25 leading a small team of software engineers, and 25 serving as the control account manager (CAM) for the embedded software control account.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to authoring and implementing embedded software solutions.
- Lead day-to-day activities for Individual Contributors, both technical and operational.
- Manage cost, schedule, earned value, scope, and risk for the embedded software control account throughout the SW development lifecycle as the Control Account Manager (CAM). Coordinate with and report out to the Engineering Project Manager, Customer, and Engineering Leadership.
- Timely coordinate with Engineering Leadership on staffing needs.
- Develop strong working relationships with all team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate GE Leadership Behaviors: Act with Humility, Lead with Transparency, and Deliver with Focus.
- Identify supplier scope of work and manage schedule if applicable.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering or similar from an accredited university.
At least 8 years of experience in embedded software development.
At least 1 year of experience leading a team or providing project management.
This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

The salary pay range for this position is $103,000.00 - $126,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
