CAMO Engineering Manager – Malta
We are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager for one of our clients based in Malta to lead the Engineering Department within their CAMO department.
You will be responsible for ensuring the continuing airworthiness of their fleet of Airbus A320/A321neo family aircraft, managing the engineering team, and ensuring compliance with EASA Part-M and Part-CAMO requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the CAMO engineering team.
- Support Aircraft’s AOC integration.
- Oversee AD, SB, and modification assessments.
- Oversee structural repairs and dent & buckle control.
- Manage the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARCs).
- Maintenance data control.
- Major Assy management (Engines, APU and Landing Gears).
- Liaise with OEMs, maintenance providers, and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and improve engineering processes and procedures.
- Lead the Reliability Programme development
- Support on Aircraft Maintenance Programme development.
Requirements:
- A relevant Engineering Degree (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics or other studies that are relevant to the maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components)
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a CAMO environment
- Proven experience in a CAMO Managerial role.
- Proven experience with Airbus family aircraft essential
- Strong understanding of EASA Part-M and Part-CAMO regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
